EVO NEW SCHOOL X HOMEY SKATESHOP

Want to design your own skateboard? Download the On-the-go stylin' DIY Skateboard Template for A4 printers.

Instructions: Print it out, stick them together over any rest of wood to be recycled, cut, put on some wheels and enjoy the ride. history of file: http://www.lets-evo.net/2007/08/17/diy-skateboard-project/

I just uploaded 2 new files to the open database of the project. 1/1 Scale CAD files of Wheels, bearings, and wheelnut in .3dm and .stp formats licensed under Creative Commons 3.0 like all other files of the DIY skateboard project. Export to your favorite render engine and make it shine. This files were used on my first designs of the Folha Seca skateboard, rendered in Cinema 4D.

Skateboard Truck CAD Model for download

Escrito por Henrique Mattar Monnerat

Back in 2007, I modeled this skateboard truck in Rhino to help the design process of the Folha Seca skateboard. It was published at the ecosk8 blog back then but since our new website, the file wasn't available. After getting some comments from people requesting the file, I now published it on Letsevo's open database. Enjoy the model! make it better, send news of what you make with it.

As consumption grows, much of our already limited natural resources become more and more endangered. The amount of waste generated mainly in developed economies is a problem to be tackled if we ought to try to solve the environment crisis. By giving waste a new life under the soul of a new product, we can contribute to a greener future for our planet.

DIY Skateboard from Waste

DIY Skateboard from Waste, Henrique Monnerat

“DIY SKATEBOARD From Waste” is a skateboard built from stuff people trow away. By utilizing an open source philosophy, my goal is to promote the sport of skateboard and to help people to be aware of what can be done with a little bit of creative power.

Download skateboard design template and follow the instructions bellow to make your own skateboards.

Step by step:

Download Template from the project databasePrint the DesignTemplateLay the skate template prints in orderAlign the Letters, cut the templates on the dotted if necessaryIt is time to glueI don't know what say here, keep doing it.Template Ready! Find whatever you want to make a skateboard of... Time to build it, glue the design template on a sheet of material, in this case, I found a wood scrap and I am using a peace of old carpet as a griptape...Straight out of the band saw...Keep the design template to drill the holes Take the design template off, notice that the holes are not counter-sunk yet...softer woods require not counter-sinking...this wood was toughThis is what it looks like when you want the screws to counter-sink, on the board you can see the bit you normally use for achieving that

This is how the board looks likeTime for the griptape, use the board to mark your griptape designAfter cuting the Almost ready! After glueing the carpet griptape, I was ready to bolte the trucks.that's it!!! .........That's the HFG Offenbach on the background.........Enjoy!
