e.Moped: Developer Guidelines

Guidelines for contributing to the e.Moped project.

Getting Started:

The e.Moped project exists mainly through the Letsevo forums and the e.Moped project Group. To participate:

- Join the "e.Moped Forums". All development questions should go there, though you might want to check the list archives first.

- Join the e.Moped Group at the Letsevo Innovation Playground

- On the e.Moped project's Database you can find files which were already created. A good starting point to get involved is to write reviews on the files already published.

Developing Methods:

We are applying some aspects of SCRUM to develop this motorcycle frame. All the desired features and requirements are collected in a document called Product Backlog. The highest priority items of the Product Backlog are put in a document called Release Backlog, which serves to communicate to everyone collaborating, what are the features that are going to flow into the Current Release. After carefully crafting out the Release Backlog, we divide the development process into Sprints, which are steps to focus in order to complete the features of a given Product Release. In an optimum situation we should be able to deliver something of value to the community, after each Sprints.

See this video to learn more about SCRUM

Examples of contributions to the project:

- Write desired Features on the Product Backlog

- Helping to solve Sprints

- Write reviews on the Project Database

Project Database:

The project database is where files are uploaded by developers and can from there be downloaded for use. Any member of the letsevo network can leave comments in forms of "reviews".

Which kind of files go to the Project Database?

-Drawings

-CAD files

-Geometry templates
